The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia have recognized Palestine as a state.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has said that the Israeli government is working with a systematic strategy to block the prospects of establishing a Palestinian state. Canada has now recognized Palestine as a state.

He stated that Israel’s continued construction of illegal settlements in the West Bank and ongoing attacks in Gaza have displaced millions of people and killed thousands of civilians. All these actions are violations of international law.

The Canadian Prime Minister said that the current Israeli government now has an open policy that a Palestinian state should never be established. In this context, Canada has recognized the State of Palestine and has offered partnership in building a peaceful future for both Palestine and Israel.

The Australian government has said that Australia has formally recognized the State of Palestine. Recognizing Palestine is part of international efforts toward a two-state solution. Hamas should have no role in Palestine.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said that the United Kingdom has also recognized Palestine as a state.
