In the Democratic Republic of Congo, 193 people have died in two separate boat accidents.


According to foreign media, dozens of people are missing following boat accidents in the African nation of Congo.


The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs stated that a boat carrying 500 passengers on the Congo River capsized after catching fire.


In this incident, 209 people were rescued, while 146 remain missing.


A day earlier, another boat capsized, causing the deaths of 86 people, most of whom were students. Several others are still missing from that accident.
