Time never remains the same this saying perfectly fits Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man from Jamaica, who now, after retirement, even struggles to climb stairs.
According to foreign media reports, 39-year-old Usain Bolt, who retired in 2017, recently gave an interview in which he spoke about his life after retirement.
He admitted, “Now I get out of breath when climbing stairs, it feels like even climbing stairs has become a challenge.”
The former athlete, who won 8 Olympic gold medals, said that nowadays he spends most of his time with his children. “Usually, I wake up before they go to school and watch them leave. What I do for the rest of the day mostly depends on my mood.”
He shared that if there’s nothing special to do, he simply relaxes at home, watching movies and series. “Apart from that, I have an interest in Lego, so I build Lego sets too. I also spend time going out with my children — at least until they start annoying me,” he added with a laugh.
Answering a question, he emphasized the importance of exercise and said, “I should really start exercising regularly again. I don’t like going to the gym, but since I’ve been away from running for a long time, I think I really need to start running again.”
It is worth mentioning that Usain Bolt announced his retirement in 2017. He still holds the world records in the 100m, 200m, and 4×100m relay races.
