Tyler Robinson, accused in the murder of Charlie Kirk a close associate of U.S. President Donald Trump and a conservative social activist has also been charged with six other offenses in addition to murder.

The accused, Tyler Robinson, was presented in court yesterday, where the prosecution brought seven charges against him.

Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray, in a press conference, said that after reviewing the evidence gathered so far by law enforcement agencies, he found 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson to be involved in the following crimes.

He stated that the accused was charged with: the premeditated murder of Charlie Kirk in a busy location that endangered other people’s lives, obstructing justice, tampering with evidence, and forcing his roommate to remain silent.

Jeff Gray further said that he is seeking the death penalty for the accused. He explained that this decision was made as County Attorney after considering the evidence, circumstances, and the nature of the crime.

He added that they have a lengthy conversation between the accused Tyler Robinson and his roommate over messages.

According to Gray, in those messages, Tyler Robinson told his roommate about the murder of Charlie Kirk, saying: “I have seen enough of his hatred; some hatreds cannot be debated.”

Court documents state that the accused Tyler Robinson had been planning the murder for a week and, prior to the killing, left a note for his roommate which said: “I got the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I am going to take advantage of it.”

It should be noted that Charlie Kirk was critically injured during a university event when he was shot in the neck while delivering a speech about transgender issues.
